When it comes to owning and maintaining a home – especially an estate – there are a wide array of services that are available for consideration to help ensure a quality life. One of the first home services that is sought when an estate is put together, especially for insurance purposes, is appraisals. An appraisal service. Caretaker services often include repairs to external doors, furniture, locks, light bulbs, renewing and replacing fuses, maintaining heating and cooling systems, litter removal, interior and exterior decorating, painting rooms and the exterior of houses and other buildings on the property, maintaining landscaping, gardening and flower beds. These services can be provided by one full-time person, or by companies with a staff that reports week for maintenance. |

Chef services provide high quality culinary services for nightly meals, dinner parties, special events, and in some cases, every meal of the day. Most companies specifically tailor their chef services to the clients needs, desires, tastes and preferences. Some people hire chefs if they lead busy lives, or simply for the luxury because they are able to afford to do so. Others hire chef services to help them meet special nutritional goals. Some chef services even stock the clients' kitchens with two weeks of customized meals. Other services deliver meals. |

Housekeepers – another popular service for estate owners – supervise work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure that a home remains orderly and attractive. Their responsibility is to maintain sanitary conditions and spread infections in the home he or she is employed. They must clean up following meals, sweep and mop the floors, clean the bathrooms, appliances, dust and polish furniture, clean mirrors, polish silver, clean air vents, dispose of trash, do laundry, iron and repair and mend clothes. A housekeeper, or maid services also must report needs for repairs to either the estate's caretaker, maintenance man, or to the home owner. |

Other home services include garbage and recycling services, which either are provided once or twice a week by the local public works department to taxpayers, or in more rural areas where homeowners pay a company to remove their trash and recyclable products. In the case of seasonal or annual or semi-annual home services, holiday decorators, piano tuners, real estate brokers, taxidermy, home organizers, computer maintenance services, carpentry, remodeling and more. Some of the services are provided by companies that offer a diverse menu of services. Other, more unique home services, can only be provided by companies that specialize in certain areas. |
